    • Show a photo and say:
      “This lighthouse stands on a rocky cliff. It’s tall and white with a light at the top. Let’s find its name.”
  • Offer 2–3 Name Cards
    • Say: “Here are some names. Which one do you think matches this lighthouse?”
  • Support with Gentle Cues
    • “This one is called Peggy’s Tower. Can you say that with me?
    • “Let’s place the name card under the picture.”
  • Celebrate the Match
    • “Yes! That’s Peggy’s Tower Lighthouse. You matched it beautifully!”
  • Repeat with the Next Lighthouse
    • Keep the pace relaxed and joy

    • Use high-contrast images and bold fonts
    • Keep the number of choices small to reduce overwhelm
    • Encourage touching the cardstracing the lighthouse shape, or describing colors
