Memory Care Activity Advisor
Memory Care Activity Advisor (Fee: $65 per hour): Supporting CMS F679 Compliance requiring memory care communities to provide meaningful, person‑centered activities that support each resident’s physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.
We will advise Activity Directors, Life Enrichment Coordinators, and Memory Care teams on:
- Implementing dementia-appropriate activities using the Daily Spark Engagement Program
- Adapting activities for early, middle, and late-stage dementia
- Creating individualized engagement/activities plans based on each resident's life story, interests, preferences, and cognitive abilities
- Applying person-centered engagement strategies
- Supporting CMS F679/F680 compliance:
- Establish consistent daily engagement opportunities beyond scheduled group activities.
- Strengthen assessment, documentation, care planning, and outcome tracking practices.
- Expand meaningful small-group and one-to-one engagement opportunities for Memory Care residents.
By partnering with Activity Directors, Life Enrichment Coordinators, and Memory Care teams, I help communities enhance resident quality of life while supporting person-centered care and regulatory compliance.
