Setting the Dinner Table

Setting the dinner table can be a valuable and engaging activity for individuals with dementia. This task provides cognitive stimulation, reinforces a sense of routine, and encourages fine motor skills.

You will need plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, napkins, and any other tableware typically used. Explain the task to the participant. Show them the tableware and explain where each item should go.
